One of the best ways to get fit or to stay fit and healthy is to take up a new outdoor activity. One way to start is to get out into the countryside and go camping, once you have set up camp the fun starts with exploring the local walks and trails. You don't need to be super fit to go for a stroll with the family. The other options are to take along some bikes for the family and have yourselves a little bike ride. Make sure you have some basic equipment, rain coats, map, bicycle repair kit, helmets etc. Some may like a little more adventure such as canoeing, rock climbing or hill walking. If this is you then more equipment is needed of course so as to be prepared and safe. There is so much to do in the great outdoors, whether it be a simple little stroll or a full on adventure. Get out there and have yourself some fun and fitness!
