Newmother.co.uk product review of the Bushbaby Nestegg Travel cot
The Bushbaby Nestegg is designed with busy parents in mind, suitable for ages 6 months to 5 years.
Ease of use is paramount with children in tow. The travel cot pop up easily in 3 seconds and is so simple to use, that’s what I like in a product, the travel cot can be put into use in a flash. With young children in tow while travelling it is great to know there will be no complications when putting up the travel cot.
Stowing away the Nestegg travel cot is a doddle too, the cot weighs only 2KG which is a nice, easy to handle size. The size and weight would be perfect for air travel as it takes up very little space and is nice and lightweight; Stowing away into a simple disc shaped bag makes it comfortable to carry. The Nestegg makes travelling much less stressful.
For indoor use the Nestegg has a varied usage, the travel cot can be great for visiting friends or for travelling, easily popped up and ready to use. The cot has a thick, comfortable, self inflating mattress to ensure a good nights sleep. When examined it feels cosy, with a nice soft feel, yet it’s firm enough to give good support. The nice zip up sheet is useful to keep little ones tucked in safe and sound, while the outer zip up door, keeps them safe and sound, and gives you peace of mind. The see-through panel allows you to see your child at all times and while fully zipped, ensures your child’s safety and also prevents cats from entering the cot.
For outdoor use it is great for garden, beach or park. The Nestegg can be easily popped into the boot of the car for day trips, giving your child protection from the sun with UV protection SPF30.A feature I find very useful, combined with the insect netting that is great to keep away the mosquitoes you can often find so annoying while visiting a country park or in the garden.
