The Merlin Entertainments London Eye showed London’s true heart as it turned red and for the first time ever pulsed to launch National Heart Month for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the nation’s heart charity.
The big switch on was attended by rock royalty, Rick Parfitt of Status Quo who himself has had a heart bypass. “This February I’m encouraging the UK to support the British Heart Foundation during National Heart Month. I’ve had a quadruple heart bypass and as a heart patient I want to do my bit to help others.
