Problems with constipation during pregnancy ( and the solution !)
We are touching on a very sensitive subject, one which affects more people in the western world than any where else. DO you suffer from constipation, piles or other digestive problems involving going to the Loo to put it sensitively? Did you know that since the invention of the modern day toilet, more and more medical problems are reported to GP's? Problems associated with constipation are also much more common during pregnancy. Why are we so embarrassed by a subject that gives us so much distress? It is time to take a stand and speak up about this problem. Women everywhere are suffering in silence during pregnancy with the same problems, Constipation and Piles. We all clam up and just endure this problem in silence instead of taking a stand and shouting about it! Is time to find the answer to our problem, and here it is! The main problem is that we have adopted an un-natural position for defecating, doing a number 2, or relieving ourselves. Squatting is just as natural as breathing and prevents all the misery and medical problems associated with constipation. Our natural position to ensure a healthy bowl evacuation has always been a squatting position, our bodies are naturally shaped for this kind of position to give us a healthy and pain free bowel movement. Ever wondered about the history of the modern toilet? In fact it is probably the worst invention the western world has createdso far. The un-natural position does not let us relieve our bowls completely, causing health problems in the digestive system. In a recent report it was stated that Constipation accounts for more than 450,000 GP consultations per year in England and Wales at an estimated cost of £4.5 million per year. The amount of aperients prescribed total in excess of £43m per year in England alone. A new product to alleviate this problem has been launched on the market to drastically reduce your embarrassing problems and let you enjoy your pregnancy as you should be; Pregnancy is such a wonderful time in your life, without such painful and annoying medical problems such as constipation and piles.

History of the modern toilet
The modern sit down toilet was thought to be the ultimate in civilized behavior. The squatting position abandoned for the sake of civil manners and modern attire so to speak. Queen Victoria her self had a gold plated toilet, now who could argue with Queen Victoria? No one could have known the full effects of this change from the natural squatting position to a sitting position. Our digestive health has never been quite the same since. Before the revolution of the sit down, flushable toilet, the main stream population were still squatting over a chamber pot or a hole in the ground covered by a plank. Little did they know that what they had was a better idea, (the squatting part of it any way?) I would never condone doing it in your back yard! To get to the point. LooStool gives back your natural bowl healthand puts a stop to the discomfort and pain of constipation and piles, plus the risk factor of other digestive disorders later in life such as, colon cancer, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease.Isn't it time we stood up andshouted about our awful discomfort during pregnancy and did something about it? We should be enjoying pregnancy and bonding with the unborn child growing inside us. The miracle of pregnancy and child birth is a natural experience that we will look back on in years to come when our little ones have grown up. Did you know that when your little one is potty training he or she will naturally adopt the squatting position to fill their nappy. They will then be encouraged to squat on a floor based potty only to be moved onto the great porcelain chamber once the novelty of emptying the poo wears off or the smells become anti-socially unacceptable. Pregnancy shouldn't be a time of discomfort and misery due to something we find so embarrassing as constipation and piles. We can change things right now by using the LooStool. Believe it or not it really will change your life and relieve your problems. Get back to being problem free and enjoying your life.
The best advice for healthy eating while pregnant is to keep your diet varied. Eating plenty of fruit and veg while also remembering to add protein to your diet with either pulses and beans, meat or fish, (oily fish is great and is full of Omega 3 fatty acids which are good for our hearts. mackerel, sardines and salmon for example.) Pasta, potatoes and rice are a good way of adding some energy giving starch. Wholemeal bread or wholemeal pasta or brown rice are the best options. Try to avoid foods with a high fat or sugar content. Snacking: If you find yourself hungry in-between meals try eating fresh fruits or raisins, the best idea is to prepare foods in advance. wash your fruit or veg well, chop into little pieces and store in tupper ware containers for snacking on later. Try having cereals handy, they are full of vitamins and minerals and folic acid. Serve with some chopped fruit or dried fruit and lashings of milk. Make a pack of healthy wholemeal cheese salad sandwiches to eat later. Always remember to drink plenty of water. Try to cut down on your coffee intake. Foods to avoid are: Liver, unpasteurized products such as some soft cheeses, Paté, Raw or partially cooked eggs, Avoid eating any shark, swordfish and marlin. Limit the amount of tuna you eat to no more than two tuna steaks a week (weighing about 140g cooked or 170g raw) or four medium-size cans of tuna a week (with a drained weight of about 140g per can). This is because of the levels of mercury in these fish. At high levels, mercury can harm a baby's developing nervous system. Also avoid Raw or undercooked meats. Wash hands very well after handling raw meats.
